Update 07/24/03:
We glued and nailed the control panels back together
We added the dust covers and the overlays...
(we left some of the backing on the overlay so that it wouldn't stick to the dust covers)

(we left the protective coverings on the overlays until the game restoration is farther along)

We added new T-molding...

Update 07/13/03:
We removed all of the trivia parts from the game
We made new control panel tops. The others were drilled out, full of glue, and generally just a mess.
We cut these panels based on the old ones (see pictures below):
We routed out the joystick covers so that the dust covers will ride under the overlays
We notched the front of the panels to hold the T-molding
We installed T-nuts (not shown) so that the joysticks can be machine-screwed to the bottom of the panels

Done:
Clean inside and out
Removed Control Panels
Filled holes in Control Panels
Remove the bolts in the start button holes
Bought reproduction Robotron overlays from Phoenix Arcade










Done but not yet pictured:
Removed paint from the coin door (oh, yeah)
Remove the glue from all over the cabinet and control panels
Removed stickers from outside of the cabinet
Painted the front and back panels
To do:
Remove the rest of the trivia parts
Re-drill the joystick holes
Add Joysticks
Add the start buttons to the coin door
Add Robotron wiring and power supply
